The LM00B01KNX logic module allows you to monitor the status of devices connected to the BUS line. Through the communication object, it is possible to enable the mode of notification of the correct functionality of the device.

There are 256 tracking blocks, through which 3 basic functions can be activated individually or in different combinations: Alive, Alarm and Warning.
– The "On line" function sends a message to the bus as long as the monitored device is active on the bus.
– The "Alarm" function will send an alarm message when the monitored device does not send any message for a period exceeding the monitoring time.
– The "Notification" function can be used to notify the monitored device.

Moments before the alarm is sent, a read value is generated on the communication object, which must be linked to a readable group object of the monitored device (e.g. temperature, status).

In addition, 16 logic blocks are available to implement simple expressions with logical or threshold operators or complex expressions with algebraic and conditional operators; It is possible to use predefined algorithms such as proportional temperature and humidity control or dew point calculation.

For greater security, two LM00B01KNX logic modules can be installed on the same BUS line and configured as primary and secondary. When the primary device goes down, the secondary device takes control of the line; when primary device operation resumes, the secondary device returns to the primary device control state only.
