The Smart 86 central operating unit combines a number of functions in one device and serves as the central control unit of an intelligent building. It takes over central functions such as preselection of required temperatures, control of blinds or external lighting. It is usually installed in a central location, for example in the entrance part of the building. The Smart central operating unit is installed without a frame. A total of 24 functions are available. These are divided into 4 direct functions and 20 menu functions. Repetitive functions such as the daily opening and closing of blinds or the switching on and off of external lighting are taken over by the integrated astronomical timer, both according to the time and according to the calculated sunrise and sunset. Four sensor surfaces are available for selected direct control functions. Twenty other functions can be controlled via menu and/or timer. In total, all functions can be controlled intuitively and conveniently using 6 sensor surfaces. Indoor/outdoor temperature, target temperature values, date/time, sunrise/sunset, text and alarm messages are clearly displayed on the large active color display. The Smart 86 central operating unit fits perfectly with the Glass Push-button II Smart. The recommended installation height is 1.6 m.
