- The device password protects the Gira X1 from unauthorized access.
- Encrypted TLS data transfer between the application and the Gira X1, as well as between the GPA and the Gira X1, prevents reading by third parties. Reading the current Gira X1 runtime project using GPA. Project backup: Save a copy of the project on the Gira X1.
Installation:
The physical address and application are configured using the KNX ETS startup software from version 4.1.8. Further configuration is done using the Gira Project Assistant (GPA). The Gira Project Assistant is available free of charge in the Gira download area.
