The RW-PF rain/wind sensor measures wind speed and detects precipitation. The wind and rain alarm is output via dry contacts and is displayed using LEDs on the device board. The wind threshold is set using DIP switches.
The measurement of the wind force is carried out electronically and therefore noiselessly and reliably even during hail, snow and minus temperatures. Turbulent air and anabatic winds are even recorded in the vicinity of the weather station.
Setting the wind threshold using DIP switches inside the housing. Potential-free output for wind alarm, additional LED wind signaling on the board. The changeover contact can be used as a normally open or normally closed contact. In the event of a wind sensor failure, the wind alarm will be activated and the power LED indicator in the case will flash. The fault is also triggered if there is no change in the measured wind value within 48 hours (fault monitoring).
Heated Precipitation Sensor (1.2 W): No false reports due to fog or dew. It dries quickly after the rain stops. Potential-free output for rain alarm, additional LED rain alarm on the board. The changeover contact can be used as a normally open or normally closed contact.
