The Suntracer KNX sl basic weather station for the KNX building bus system measures temperature, wind speed, brightness and detects precipitation. All values can be used to control limit-dependent switching outputs. The states can be connected through logical AND functions and logical OR functions. Multi-function modules change input data as needed using calculations, querying conditions, or data point type conversions. The compact housing of the Suntracer KNX sl basic houses sensors, evaluation electronics and a bus coupler.
Features:
- Brightness measurement (current light intensity) using 3 sensors. Individual values, maximum or mixed value can be used.
- Wind measurement: Wind strength is measured electronically, which is why it is noiseless and reliable even in hail, snow and sub-zero temperatures. Air turbulence and rising wind in the area of the facility are also recorded.
- Precipitation detection: The surface of the sensor is heated, so only drops and flakes are detected as precipitation, but not fog or dew. If it stops raining or snowing, the sensor is quickly dry again and the precipitation report stops.

- Switching outputs for all measured and calculated values. Limit values adjustable via parameters or via communication objects
- 8 logical AND and 8 OR functions after 4 inputs. All switching events and 16 logic inputs in the form of communication objects can be used as inputs for logic functions. The output of each gate can be configured as either 1 bit or 2 x 8 bits.
- 8 multifunctional modules (calculator) for changing the input data by calculations, querying the condition or converting the data point type.
