The new Gira KNX Mini Standard and Comfort presence detectors register even the smallest movements in the room and allow you to fully and semi-automatically control various functions in the KNX system depending on the presence. Light, heating or ventilation, for example, can be regulated to save energy and requirements. Thanks to various versions, such as ceiling installation, recessed or surface mounting, the Gira KNX Mini presence detector can be used indoors and outdoors. It can be used as a stand-alone device or in combination with other Gira KNX presence detectors as a main unit or as an extension.
New concept of ceiling mounting
The concept of flexible assembly has a large number of advantages during assembly. The equipment can be used in all rooms and areas of the property. They are designed for ceiling mounting and can be installed in a ceiling installation (standard version), flush mounting and surface mounting versions. Thanks to the degree of protection IP 44, it can be installed outdoors or in a humid room.
New ease of use
All controls on the device are accessible from the front and can be accessed by removing the appropriate design ring. For example, the detection sensitivity can be easily changed by maintenance personnel without ETS and without having to dismantle the device.
Gira KNX Mini Standard presence detector
The Gira KNX Mini Standard presence detector has an integrated bus clutch, three digital PIR sensors and a brightness sensor. The tracking time can be flexibly set and customized on request. Only the minimum and maximum value need to be defined for this. Depending on the duration of the registered movement in the room, the Gira KNX Mini Standard presence detector then selects the corresponding short or long monitoring time.
