Modbus weather station for temperature, 3x brightness, wind speed, precipitation. Optional GPS receiver.
Weather stations P03/3-Modbus and P03/3-Modbus-GPS measure temperature, wind speed and brightness (east, south and west sun) and detect precipitation.
The P03/3-Modbus-GPS additionally receives UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) signals as well as location coordinates via an integrated GPS receiver. The direction of the sun (azimuth) as well as its height (altitude).
The devices are Modbus slaves with RS485 interface and RTU protocol. A Modbus master such as a PC, SPS or MC can read the measured values of P03/3-Modbus(-GPS) weather stations using "Function 04h (Read Input Register)".
The measurement of the wind force is carried out electronically and therefore noiselessly and reliably even during hail, snow and minus temperatures.
Heated Precipitation Sensor (1.2 W): No false reports due to fog or dew. It dries quickly after the rain stops.
