The Spacelogic KNX IP Router allows telegrams to be sent between different lines over a LAN (IP) as a fast backbone. This KNX IP router is also suitable for connecting a PC to the KNX network, for example for ETS programming. The KNX IP router supports KNX security, which can be activated in the ETS. As a secure router, the device allows you to connect unsecured communication on the KNX TP with a secure IP backbone. In terms of interface functionality (tunneling), KNX security prevents unauthorized access. The router supports up to 8 tunneling channels. A separate individual address must be configured for each tunnel channel. The IP address can be obtained via DHCP server or manual configuration (ETS). This KNX IP router works according to the KNXnet / IP specification and uses kernel, device management, tunneling and routing. The Spacelogic KNX IP Router has an extended filter table for the main group 0 to 31 and can store up to 150 telegrams.
