The logic module for the YOUVI Basic software package enables the definition of routines in the KNX Smart Home. The building thinks with you and many manual operations can be reduced. Individual notifications for specific events are also possible. With the KNX Logic Module, Smart Home residents save not only time, but also energy, for example when the heating is regulated automatically.
The logic module is the core of the automated building. YOUVI reacts to defined events and enables intelligent home control. Using the logic editor, the user can easily create routines himself. Each routine consists of a trigger, an action, and, if necessary, one or more conditions. For example, a garden sprinkler system can automatically take over watering the lawn if the soil moisture drops below a certain level, or the blinds will automatically lower at sunset. By means of various custom states, the user himself determines when the routines are played or deactivated. For example, it is possible to save a number of routines that simulate presence and are activated only during vacation. While away, the logic module can create a small log by displaying notifications in the visualization when certain events occur, such as when a motion detector in the garden is activated.
The module can be set in the browser either via the touch panel or using a laptop. YOUVI presents the logic in a tabular overview. Each routine can also be assigned a suitable label for a better display structure and quick routine search. The history helps to get an overview of the procedures that have been played as well as the procedures that have been blocked by the condition. Routines can be created directly after installing the module without additional settings. The user interface is easy for anyone to understand and allows you to create simple logic in an instant.
