KNX SO250 ultrasonic probes are used to measure the filling level of liquids in tanks or to measure distance. The sensor head is resistant to heating oil and water and can be used for example for tanks, ponds or oil tanks. With the help of distance measurement, it is possible to track, for example, the parking distance of trucks.
The KNX ETS software enables individual parameterization of all functions of the KNX SO250 bus. There are five variable thresholds for filling, emptying, dry run protection and overflow alarm. The KNX SO250 has an additional display that directly shows the distance/fill level. An integrated keyboard is used to select the dimensions of the tank and set the two relay switching outputs. An additional acoustic alarm can be triggered when the relay is switched on.
