Single-Master DALI Controller certified according to DALI-2 (EN 62386). The device is used to control DALI or DALI-2 devices via ABB i-bus® KNX. One DALI output for up to 64 DALI participants. The DALI power supply is integrated. Control and status feedback is performed via KNX for DALI participants (64), with lighting groups (16), together on-air or after scenes (16). DALI devices of type DT1 (separate emergency converter according to EN 62386-202) and type DT8 (color temperature Tc & RGB(W) according to EN 62386-209) will be supported. Other DALI devices, e.g. DT6, can be controlled using standard DALI commands according to EN 62386-102.
Extensive fault and error reporting is available. Slave function, staircase, forcing, block and scene are integrated. Color can be set and dimmed, HSV(W)-, Dim2Warm-, HCL function can be used, 4 sequencers for DALI output. Standby shutdown in combination with a KNX switch (e.g. SA/S) and integration of DALI gateways into the load control system is possible. Various emergency tests (e.g. function and duration test) can be run using the KNX transmitter and DT1, the test results are transferred back to KNX.
A separate software tool (ABB i-bus® Tool) is available for diagnostic use and individual change of the DALI address or group assignment.
