It controls four independent groups (broadcast) with up to four SMI (Standard Motor Interface) low voltage drives (24V) for positioning blinds, shutters, awnings and other shading products. Status signals (motor fault, direction of movement) can also be sent from the SMI drive on the bus. On the front of the device there are buttons for output control, e.g. during commissioning. The current status of the output is indicated by LEDs.
